Dave Taylor

Dave Taylor has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Dave is currently the Director of Information Technology at Tempur Sealy International since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Blackhawk Mining as the Vice President of Technology from June 2017 to April 2021.

Before joining Blackhawk Mining, Dave held various roles at Lexmark Intl for a significant period of time. Dave served as the Director of IT Global Applications and Offshore Management from January 2008 to December 2016. In this role, they managed enterprise applications and implemented strategic initiatives to improve core applications. Dave also successfully delivered multi-million dollar annual investments across various technologies, including SAP, Siebel, Enovia, SAP BI, Oracle OBIEE, webMethods, LifeRay, ServiceNow, and Jive.

Prior to this, they worked as the Director of IT - Global Strategic Programs from 2002 to 2007, where they led the delivery of a global CRM system and implemented process improvements that resulted in significant operational efficiencies. Additionally, they served as an IT Manager - ERP from 1994 to 1999, managing the implementation and deployment of JDE ERP and supporting the order fulfillment and commissions functions.

Dave's early career includes a role in application development at IBM from 1988 to 1991, where they were responsible for developing various applications and played a key role in the EDI program.

Dave Taylor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University in the years 1984 to 1987. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration at Xavier University from 1989 to 1992.
