Robert Manel has an extensive work experience in the sales and management field. Robert started their career as an Assistant Buyer at Sporting Life in 2000 and later became an Account Manager at Kobe Sportswear in 2002. In 2005, Robert joined Sealy Canada as a Key Account Manager and then became the Regional Sales Manager for Central Canada, where they achieved significant sales growth and expanded distribution into new channels. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the National Account and Export Manager for Sealy Canada, managing the business with Sleep Country Canada and Sealy Japan. Robert then joined Tempur Sealy International in 2015 as the Director of National Accounts, responsible for a multi-brand portfolio across various channels. Robert later became the Senior Director of Field Sales, where they managed strategic sales and marketing development, C-suite relationships, and the training development of regional sales directors and territory managers. Overall, Robert has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills throughout their career.

Robert Manel completed their BA degree in Sociology and Mass Communications at York University from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management at Seneca Polytechnic from 1999 to 2000.
