Tao Zhu

Tao Zhu has extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. They currently hold the position of Director of Operations at Tempur Sealy International, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this role, they served as the Plant Manager at the same company from 2021 to 2023 and as the Technical Manager from 2018 to 2021. Before joining Tempur Sealy International, they worked as the Pourline Manager at Sinomax-USA from 2016 to 2018 and as the Pourline Supervisor at Wm. T. Burnett & Co. from 2015 to 2016. Their earlier experience includes working as an R&D Chemical Engineer at Tech Ord - A Division of AMTEC Corporation from 2013 to 2015, as a Technical Aide Fire Protection Products at 3M from 2011 to 2013, as a Student Researcher at the University of Minnesota from 2009 to 2010, and as a Software Test Engineer Intern at Thomson Reuters in 2008.

From 2008 to 2012, Tao Zhu attended the University of Minnesota where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
