Shannan Kelly

Shannan Kelly is an experienced professional in clinical laboratory operations and forensic science. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Lab Operations at Tempus AI since April 2020, Shannan has held various roles within the company, including Manager of Molecular Operations and Molecular Laboratory Supervisor. Prior experience includes over a decade at the LAPD in the Forensic Science Division, where Shannan worked as a Criminalist/DNA Analyst and also served as Acting Supervising Criminalist. Earlier career roles include Faculty Instructor in the Biology and Chemistry Departments at California State University-Dominguez Hills and Biology Research Associate at Robles Laboratory. Shannan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
