Claire Tuquero is a dedicated and aspiring nursing professional currently engaged in a clinical rotation at Massachusetts General Hospital, where responsibilities include assisting nurses in complex and post-operative care. Claire serves as president of the NSOCO organization at Simmons University, fostering the growth of this newly-revived group within a predominantly white institution. With a research background from the Simmons College Access to Research Program, experience as a patient care assistant at Tempus Unlimited, and previous internships, Claire has developed a strong foundation in patient care and healthcare operations. Additionally, leadership skills were showcased through the founding and presidency of the Aloha High School Future Medical Professionals Club, which facilitated significant community health initiatives. Claire is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with an anticipated graduation date in June 2026.

Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts exists to provide a continuum of service that supports the efforts of children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in a less restrictive environment. Through personal involvement, individual decision-making is supported and encouraged to enhance the control of a person over his/her own life while fostering self-sufficiency. The agency, through its programs and services, encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the mainstream of society including social, recreational, family and work activities.
