Robyn Hickerson has a strong background in scientific research and leadership roles. Robyn is the co-founder and CEO of Ten Bio, a company that specializes in providing optimal human skin models for skin biology testing. Prior to this, they worked as a group leader at the University of Dundee starting in 2019. From 2013 to 2019, they held various positions at the University of Dundee, including independent investigator and Marie Curie research fellow. Before joining the university, they worked as a senior scientist at TransDerm Inc. from 2005 to 2013. Robyn began their career as a postdoc at UC Santa Cruz from 2000 to 2005.
Robyn Hickerson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at The University of Texas at El Paso from 1990 to 1995. Robyn then pursued further studies at the University of Utah, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Chemistry from 1995 to 2000.
