Gianpaolo Di Simone has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and travel industry. Gianpaolo started their career as a Senior Travel Consultant at Marea Viaggi Travel Agency from 2000 to 2009. Gianpaolo then worked as a Travel Agency Branch Manager at Marconi Viaggi Travel Agency from 2010 to 2015, where they were responsible for developing travel programs and managing bookings. Gianpaolo later joined Daniel Department Store as a Customer Service Sales Specialist from 2015 to 2018, where they focused on maintaining customer loyalty and resolving complaints. Following that, Gianpaolo worked at Hilton Hotels & Resorts as a Front Office Supervisor from 2018 to 2021, overseeing front desk operations and delivering exceptional guest service. Currently, they are employed at Ten Lifestyle Group as a Travel Lifestyle Manager, responsible for managing travel arrangements and engaging with members to ensure their needs are met.
Gianpaolo Di Simone received a postgraduate degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from the University of Westminster, graduating in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from Università degli Studi di Teramo, completing their studies in 2015. Gianpaolo also holds a high school diploma in Tourist Engineering, which they obtained from Francesco Paolo Michetti High School.
In addition to their formal education, Gianpaolo has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In March 2021, they received the certification for "Building Rapport with Customers" from LinkedIn. Gianpaolo also completed a certification course on "Learning Excel 2019" in July 2020 and certifications on "Customer Service: Managing Customer Expectations" and "Listening to Customers" in May 2020, all obtained from LinkedIn.
