Jess Melanson-Thomas

Jess Melanson-Thomas has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Reporter for The Patriot Ledger. In 2012, they worked as a Clerk for O'Malley and Harvey, LLP, performing paralegal duties. In 2013, they joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Marketing Assistant, and then moved on to roles as a Digital Marketing Specialist, Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, and a member of the Marketing Technology team. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at MassMutual as a Back End Developer, Mobile iOS Developer, and Full Stack Developer. Most recently, they have been a Mobile Software Engineer for Ten Percent Happier since 2021.

Jess Melanson-Thomas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northeastern University between 2009 and 2014. In 2017, they attended Harvard Extension School for a non-degree program in Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Udemy, Akamai Technologies, and freeCodeCamp, including Modern React with Redux [2019] Course Completion (2020), Akamai Web Performance Foundations (2019), and Responsive Web Design program completion (2018).
