Peter Smith-Vondras

Peter Smith-Vondras has extensive work experience, beginning with a Research and Lab Assistant position at Procyon Kinase-C Pharmaceuticals/LC Laboratories in 2003. Peter then held a Mechanical Engineering Intern position at the City of Gloucester Engineering Department and Water Treatment Plant in 2006. From 2010 to 2018, Peter worked as a Mechanical Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, a Consultant - Mechanical Engineer at Lighthouse Placement Services, LLC, and a Graduate Student - Post-Baccalaureate Computer Science program at Tufts University. In 2017, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google, and from 2016 to 2018 they were a Software Engineering Graduate Intern at PTC, a Senior Software Engineer at Indigo, and a Ms Computer Science at Tufts University. Peter is currently a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Ten Percent Happier since 2022.

Peter Smith-Vondras obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009. Peter then went on to pursue a Post-Baccalaureate Computer Science Minor at Tufts University from 2015 to 2016. In 2018, they completed an M.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University. In February 2022, Peter Smith-Vondras obtained a Foundations in Somatic Abolitionism for White Bodies certification from Education for Racial Equity.
