Samuel Johns has over 10 years of experience in the business and marketing fields. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Greenkeeper at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. In 2008, they co-founded Australian Coastal & Mountain Tours and also volunteered as a Mentor & Online Strategy Consultant at Mayibuye. From 2010 to 2012, they worked in various roles at Vistaprint, such as Specialist, Organic Search, Organic Search, Sr. Marketing Associate, Sr. Product Marketing Associate, and Product Marketing Associate. In 2012, they joined TripAdvisor as an SEO Specialist and SEO Analyst. In 2016, they started their own businesses, Samuel Johns SEO Consulting and Samuel Johns Coaching & Consulting. Samuel also joined Ten Percent Happier as a Business Operations, Senior Lead, Senior Producer, Podcasts, PR & Media Relations, and Head of Product Engagement & Coaching. During their time at Ten Percent Happier, they scaled the podcast from 13M downloads to over 100M in two years and made it the #1 Health & Wellness podcast on Apple podcast in 2020. Samuel also worked closely with production partner ABC News and lead ownership transition from ABC News to Ten Percent Happier. Additionally, they built and managed a team of producers and was responsible for recruiting and leading a team of 8 mediation coaches.

Samuel Johns attended Babson College from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship. Samuel also attended Franklin W.Olin College of Engineering from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a BA in Technology Entrepreneurship. From 2007 to 2010, Samuel attended RMIT University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship). Finally, from 2003 to 2007, they attended North Melbourne Institute of TAFE and obtained a Certificate 4 in Turf Management.
