Dan Alonso

Dan Alonso has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Ten Thousand Villages US, starting in 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at The GIANT Company, including Head of Innovation, Head of New Business Development, Head of Store Technology, and Director of Store Communications & Business Analytics. These roles involved developing strategies, managing teams, and implementing new technologies and initiatives. Before working at The GIANT Company, Dan worked as a Senior Manager and Manager in Enterprise Performance Management at GIANT, where they focused on strategy deployment and performance measurement. Dan also worked as a Senior Analyst in Business Systems at Ahold Information Services. Additionally, Dan has experience as a Project Manager at D2 Media and as a Consultant/IT Architect at Intellimark. Dan started their career as a Web Marketing Technologist at Knowledgesoft, where they designed e-learning software and managed marketing campaigns.

Dan Alonso is currently pursuing a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. Their education at Messiah University includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in February 2014.
