LaFleasha Owens is a dedicated educator with extensive experience at the Bakersfield City School District since August 1998. Currently serving as a 6th-grade teacher and Team Leader, LaFleasha has also held the position of Acting Vice Principal and worked as an Academic Coach. LaFleasha Owens earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Capella University (2010-2012) and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from California State University, Bakersfield (1992-1998). Recognized as a Highly Qualified Teacher, LaFleasha is committed to providing quality education and leadership in the academic environment.
