Richard Button

Richard Button is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Public Sector West at Tenable since March 2025, Richard previously held the position of Senior Director of SLED Sales at Fortinet from September 2022 to March 2025. Richard's tenure at Illumio as Senior Director of Global Inside Sales from May 2021 to July 2022 involved building a high-performing Commercial Sales team, driving significant pipeline growth. At Palo Alto Networks, Richard excelled as Regional Vice President of Americas Corporate Sales for nearly a decade, overseeing various sales organizations and earning multiple accolades, including the Century Club honors for three consecutive years. Earlier experience includes roles at Palo Alto Networks and Dell, where Richard successfully built and managed sales teams to achieve outstanding results. Richard holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a BA (Hons) in International Business Studies with German from the University of Plymouth.
