Seth Matheson

Seth Matheson is an accomplished security engineering professional with extensive experience in IT security consulting and vulnerability management. Currently employed as a Distinguished Security Engineer at Tenable since May 2017, Seth has progressed through various security engineering roles at the company. Prior experience includes providing senior security engineering expertise to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through Triumph Enterprises and leading the NIH Information Security Program Vulnerability Management Team at Tantus Technologies. Seth's earlier roles include security administration and computer analysis at TerpSys, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining operational security for the National Cancer Institute, and managing technical teams as a webmaster and student help desk supervisor. Seth holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
