Jamal Hamidi

Jamal Hamidi is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat defense and incident response. Currently serving as the Lead Cyber Security Threat Defense at Tenaga Nasional Berhad since July 2022, Jamal has previously held positions including Manager of IDT Security Incident Response at BAT and Manager of Threat Intelligence Management at Tenaga Nasional Berhad. With a career spanning over a decade, Jamal has worked in various capacities at notable organizations such as GSK, AIA, and British American Tobacco, specializing in threat intelligence analysis and IT security. Educational qualifications include a degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and early foundational training at MRSM Perlis.
