Paolo Sanavio

Paolo Sanavio has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and industrial sector. Paolo currently holds the role of Operation Senior Director at Tenaris, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Project Senior Director Eastern Hemisphere and Tenaris Industrial Senior Advisor at Tenaris from October 2020 until August 2022. From February 2020 to August 2020, they were the Operation Senior Director Threading Tenaris USA.

Before joining Tenaris, Paolo held various managerial positions at different companies. Paolo was the Plant Director at McCarty Houston TX from July 2019 to January 2020 and the Operation Director at Tenaris Indonesia from July 2015 to June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Tenaris Asia Pacific Operation Coordinator Director, where they managed industrial synergy between facilities in China, Japan, and Indonesia. Paolo also worked as the NKKtubes Industrial Senior Assistant of Area Manager in Japan from January 2013 to January 2014.

Before entering the private sector, Paolo gained experience in process improvement as a Process Improver at DALMINE S.P.A. from January 2000 to December 2002. Paolo began their career as a Junior Mechanical Engineer at Siderca SAIC - Techint Group - from January 1998 to December 1999.

Outside of the industry, Paolo served in the Italian Military Service as a Navy Militar from November 1996 to November 1997.

Paolo Sanavio completed their education with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Production from the University of Genoa, where they studied from 1989 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended the Leonardo Da Vinci Scientific High School from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained their high school diploma in scientific studies.
