Tenaya Capital
Brian focuses on SaaS, data center/cloud infrastructure, and security. He likes companies that are leveraging big changes in the market landscape and have a unique wedge in the market. Brian co-founded Tenaya Capital and, prior to that, was a partner at Lehman Brothers Venture Partners (starting in 1999). Previously, Brian worked in Lehman Brothers' Technology and Healthcare Investment Banking groups and First Boston’s Mortgage Finance group.
Brian has been ranked on the Forbes Midas List of Top Tech Investors and selected as one of the 15 top venture capitalists on the East Coast by Business Insider.
Brian holds an M.B.A. with distinction from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the Wharton Entrepreneurial Advisory Board.
Brian lives in Boston and is an avid Boston sports fan (some might say obnoxious). He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, 3 kids, and his Bernese mountain dog. He likes challenging himself with endurance races…but tends to do them very slowly.
