Faraz Ali

Faraz Ali serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tenaya Therapeutics since June 2018 and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine since January 2023. With a robust background in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors, Faraz previously held the position of Chief Business Officer at REGENXBIO Inc. and played a key role in the NEWDIGS consortium at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior experience includes Vice President of Global Commercial Development at bluebird bio and significant roles at Sanofi Genzyme, Genzyme, and as a consultant for Third Rock Ventures. Faraz holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
