Kathy Ivey

VP – Gene Therapy Research at Tenaya Therapeutics

Kathy Ivey has extensive work experience in the field of gene therapy and stem cell research. Kathy is currently serving as the VP of Gene Therapy Research at Tenaya Therapeutics since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Gene Therapy Biology at the same company from February 2020 to February 2022. Before joining Tenaya Therapeutics, Kathy worked at Gladstone Institutes, where they held various roles including Staff Research Scientist III from January 2015 to October 2016, Staff Research Investigator and Stem Cell Core Director from April 2009 to December 2014, and Research Scientist from June 2005 to April 2009. Kathy also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UCSF starting in 2010.

Kathy Ivey attended UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1999 to 2004, where they pursued their PhD in Biomedical Science.
