Cyril Rebetez

Cyril Rebetez is a seasoned professional in user research and cognitive psychology, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Tencent Games since March 2023, leading the 'Checkpoint' team focused on user research across Tencent's second-party studios. Previously, Cyril held key positions at Babylon as User Research Manager and NatWest Group as UX Research Consultant, employing diverse qualitative and quantitative research methods. Cyril's extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Constellation AI and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, where user research strategies were developed for major gaming franchises. With a strong academic foundation, Cyril obtained a PhD from the University of Geneva, focusing on cognitive psychology and HCI, and has contributed to multimedia learning research and methodologies throughout a distinguished career.
