Dongyan Wang

Dongyan Wang is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in IT leadership and AI transformation. Currently serving as the Overseas Chief Information Officer at Tencent since August 2021, Dongyan Wang leads the organization’s IT and technology enablement efforts across over 40 countries, focusing on strategic vision and customer-driven tech platforms for numerous game studios. Prior roles include VP of AI Transformations at Landing AI, Chief AI Officer at International AI + Block Startup, and Vice President & General Manager at Midea Group, where Dongyan Wang spearheaded global AI initiatives. With a strong foundation in enterprise solutions from positions at NetApp, Cisco Systems, and Samsung Electronics America, Dongyan Wang possesses a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Harbin Engineering University.
