Elizabeth Byun

Elizabeth Byun is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Head of the Global Research Institute, Head of International Regulatory Legal, Head of Corporate Legal, and Deputy Legal Director at Tencent since May 2013, Elizabeth has held multiple senior legal positions within the company. Prior to Tencent, Elizabeth was a Legal Counsel in the Corporate Legal Department at Nomura from November 2010 to November 2012 and worked as an Associate at DLA Piper from August 2007 to October 2010. Elizabeth holds an LLB and a PCLL from The University of Hong Kong, and has educational background from Beijing Language and Culture University and Chinese International School.
