Susan Richards

Susan Richards has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within information technology and security. Susan'smost recent position is as VP of Information Security at Tend, where they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Technology Strategy Consultant at Sure IT from September 2022. From 2015 to 2022, Susan served as the Director of Information Security at Change Healthcare. Susan also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Lipscomb University from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Comdata from 2012 to 2015 and as a Development Team Lead at Central Parking System from 2008 to 2012. Susan's earlier experience includes a role as a Development Manager at Deloitte from 2004 to 2008 and as a Consultant at InfoAdvantage from 1997 to 2004.

Susan Richards obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology/Information Security from Lipscomb University between 2017 and 2018. Susan has also received certifications as a HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner from Hitrust Alliance in November 2021, a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in April 2021, and an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021.
