Claire Thomas

Claire Thomas is a mechanical engineer at Tendeg, LLC, where support is provided for gimbal test engineering and internal research and development since August 2022. Prior experience includes technical internships at Made In Space, Inc. and Sierra Nevada Corporation, as well as an engineering internship at Lunar Outpost focusing on materials research and CAD. Academic contributions include an undergraduate researcher position at Colorado School of Mines, where machine learning was utilized for hard magnet research, and teaching roles, such as Computer Aided Engineering Teaching Assistant and Space Captain. Claire is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Space Resources at Colorado School of Mines, following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
