Jaspreet Bassan

Jaspreet Bassan is the current Senior Product Manager at Tenjin. Before Tenjin, Bassan was the Manager of Analytics and Data Science at theScore from October 2021 to March 2022. There, Bassan led a team of 10 data analysts and data scientists as well as spearheading the data science efforts to fuel theScore’s marketing and advertising needs. In just a few short months, Bassan was able to make a significant impact by laying foundations for documentation, project management, and strategy to anchor the department. Jaspreet also brought in much-needed organization to work on high impact projects and reduce ad hoc work. Finally, they owned and defined career journeys for data scientists and data analysts.

Bassan’s previous position was Director of Data at Cardea Health from January 2021 to May 2021. In this role, they helped the founders formulate the technical requirements of a product in Cardiology and oversaw the data space end-to-end, from acquiring patient data to building solutions using patient data. Jaspreet also performed extensive research to understand HIPAA and PHIPA laws around acquiring and storing Personal Health Information. In addition, they performed a detailed SWOT analysis to determine potential partnerships such as tech infrastructure, NLP companies in healthcare, Electronic Medical Records companies, and more. Finally, they contributed to the overall UI/UX design process with the chief medical officer.

Bassan’s experience in both analytics and data science as well as their understanding of the healthcare industry makes their an ideal candidate for their current role at Tenjin. With their experience and expertise, they are able to provide valuable insights and solutions that help Tenjin continue to be a leader in the field.

Jaspreet Bassan has a MSc in Computer Science from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Dr. D. Y. Patil Polytechnic.
