Jimmy Velasquez

Jimmy Velasquez has a wide range of experience in the IT industry. Jimmy is currently working as an IT Manager at World Vision, where they lead digital transformation projects and manages the Information Technology Team for the Andean Region. Prior to this, Jimmy co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at Tenmás, a technology company. Jimmy also founded and served as the CEO of Globalnick, a company that provides various technology-based services and products such as digital transformation, web design, mobile applications, cloud computing, and technological coaching.

In addition, Jimmy has held various leadership roles in different organizations. Jimmy worked as a Tech Lead at Tottus and as the Head of IT at QROMA, where they led technical projects and evaluated designs of technical solutions. Jimmy also served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Dog Houser, where they focused on designing technological platforms and guiding user experience.

Prior to these roles, Jimmy held positions such as Technology Infrastructure Manager Global at Grupo AJE, where they defined strategic IT plans and improved technology services. Jimmy Velasquez has a diverse education history, with a focus on business and innovation. Jimmy completed a postgraduate international program in Agile Methodology and Innovation at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business at Universidad ESAN.

In 2009, Jimmy obtained a Mention in Entrepreneurship from Arizona State University. Additionally, they hold a degree in System Engineering from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, which they completed from 1996 to 2001.
