Kathy Garrison

Kathy Garrison has over 28 years of work experience in tax and finance roles. Kathy currently serves as the Vice President - Global Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management at Tennant Company, where they lead global tax, treasury, and risk management functions. Prior to this, Kathy worked at General Mills for 23 years, holding various positions including Director of International Tax & Global M&A, Director of Domestic Tax / Global Accounting and Controls, and Senior Tax Manager, among others. Kathy also has experience as a Senior International Tax Analyst at NRG Energy, Inc. and as a Senior Tax Analyst at Deloitte. Kathy's expertise includes leading strategic tax planning, managing tax compliance and provision reporting, and overseeing international tax initiatives.

Kathy Garrison holds a Masters degree in Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, Kathy has obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn and is a Certified Public Accountant accredited by the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy.
