Piyush Upadhyay

Piyush Upadhyay is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in various high-level HR roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as Executive Director HR EMEA at Tenneco since May 2024, Piyush is driving the transformation of the Clean Air division's human resources in the EMEA region. Prior to this role, Piyush was the Chief Human Resources Officer at GKN Automotive from December 2022 to May 2024, where responsibilities included supporting the organization's transformation journey and strategic execution. Piyush also held the Executive Director HR EMEA position at Tenneco from September 2016 to November 2022, leading the HR function for the Clean Air division across multiple EMEA countries. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief - Strategic HR at TATA Power, where Piyush was pivotal in formulating long-term HR strategies. Piyush holds an MSc in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School and completed an Advanced Human Resource Executive Program at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
