Rainer Capellmann

Rainer Capellmann is a seasoned engineering professional with over two decades of experience in product development and technology management within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for the H2-ICE Program and Product Development of Piston Rings at Federal-Mogul Burscheid GmbH, a Tenneco Company, Rainer oversees program management and product development from concept to series production. Previously, Rainer has held various managerial and project management roles at Federal-Mogul, DaimlerChrysler, and the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung, focusing on strategic technology development, innovation processes, and new product initiatives. Rainer holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by a strong educational background in both Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering.
