Reinhardt Potgieter

Reinhardt Potgieter has a comprehensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Reinhardt has been working at Tenneco Inc. since 2022, initially as a Plant Manager and now as a Director & Plant Manager. Prior to that, they worked at DRiV Incorporated from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Continuous Improvement / Maintenance Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager. Reinhardt also gained experience at Lear Corporation as a Senior Engineer / CI Specialist from 2016 to 2017. Reinhardt began their career in 2009 at Johnson Controls, where they held various roles such as Engineering / CI / Maintenance Manager responsible for manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt driving continuous improvement projects, Manufacturing Engineer, and Production Manager. Before joining Johnson Controls, Reinhardt worked as a Process Engineer at Behr from 2007 to 2009.

Reinhardt Potgieter obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Btech production & operations management from Nelson Mandela University in 2010-2011. Prior to that, from 2007-2008, they also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Btech Industrial engineering from the same university. In 2004-2006, Reinhardt received a Ndip Industrial engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Nelson Mandela University. Reinhardt completed their high school education at Framesby High School from 1998-2003. Additionally, Reinhardt has completed various certifications including Kepner Tregoe problem solving and decision making, MTM logistics, MTM standard data, Six sigma black belt, and Six sigma green belt from different institutions.
