Marta Veronica Ferreira

Marta Veronica Ferreira has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and purchasing. Marta Veronica started their career as a Buyer III at Companhia Siderurgica Nacional in 1995 and worked there until 1998. Marta Veronica then joined Embratel as a Buyer in 2000. From 2003 to 2009, Marta worked as a Purchasing Agent/Sourcing Manager Specialist at Tennessee State University. In 2010, they were an Inside Sales Representative/Maintenance Renewal Account Manager at ServiceSource and later that year became a Contract Buyer for Aluminum and PGM at Nissan North America. Marta joined Tennessee State University again in 2010 as a Purchasing Agent/Sourcing Manager Specialist until 2012. Marta Veronica then moved on to serve as a Purchasing Agent/Sourcing Manager Specialist at Tennessee State University from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Marta worked as a Procurement Systems Specialist/Buyer II at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Marta Veronica joined Vanderbilt University in 2016 as a Purchasing Agent and worked there until 2020. Currently, Marta is the Director of Contracts and Reporting at the Tennessee Board of Regents since April 2020.

Marta Veronica Ferreira earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidade Veiga de Almeida in 1994. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business/Commerce, General at LSU Shreveport. It is expected that they will complete their MBA in 2024.
