Jennifer Littlejohn began their career as an intern at the Tuscaloosa Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2003. Jennifer then worked as a Marketing & Tourism Assistant at the Chattanooga Area Convention & Visitors Bureau from 2004 to 2005. Jennifer then joined the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development in 2007, where they held various roles including Senior Writer, Marketing & Public Relations Manager, and Director of Marketing. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Account Executive at White|Thompson. Jennifer returned to the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development in 2011 as the Director of Marketing, and later became the Interim Assistant Commissioner of Marketing. Their most recent role was as the Director of Marketing & Special Events at the Tennessee Education Lottery, which they started in 2016.

Jennifer Littlejohn graduated from The University of Alabama in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications - Journalism. Additionally, in May 2012, they obtained a certification as a Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional from the Tennessee Tourism Roundtable.
