Johnetta Blakely

Johnetta Blakely has worked at Tennessee Oncology since 2011, holding various roles including Executive Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Partner, and MD. Prior to that, they worked at The West Clinic from 2004 to 2011 as a Partner.

Johnetta Blakely has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Lipscomb University, which they obtained between 1992 and 1994. Johnetta then pursued their Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center between 1994 and 1998. Johnetta furthered their education by completing a Master of Science in Clinical Research at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they completed a Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from 2001 to 2004. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Health Care Administration/Management degree from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management between 2016 and 2018.
