Jennifer Turner

Jennifer Turner began their work experience in 1997 as an Opera House Manager at the Michigan Opera Theatre. In 2002, they transitioned to the role of Manager of Theatres at Harper College. From there, they became the Booking Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in 2006. Later that year, they joined the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University as the Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, where they stayed until 2013. In 2013, Turner moved to the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, first as Vice President of Theater Operations & Facilities, then as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director. Currently, they are serving as the President & CEO of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center starting from May 2019.

Jennifer Turner obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Michigan State University, which they attended from 1991 to 1995. Jennifer later pursued a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Roosevelt University, attending from 2010 to 2012.
