Mary Ruffin

Mary Ruffin has extensive experience in operational and administrative roles within the aquatics and healthcare sectors. Currently an Operational Specialist at Tennessee Retina since January 2020, Mary has also held positions such as Administrative Assistant and Copay Assistance Specialist within the same organization. Concurrently, Mary serves as the Aquatics International Team Coordinator for AAU, where responsibilities include organizing athlete selection, travel, and competition for the International Swimming Foundation World School Games 2019. Previously, Mary was the Administrator for Alligator Aquatics USA Swim Club and the Owner/Director of SwimAmerica, a premier swim lesson program. Mary also served as CEO and Head Coach of Alligator Aquatics, which led to a relocation to Nashville. Early career experience includes a role as Head Senior Coach and Head Administrative Coach at New Trier Swim Club. Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Lake Forest College and attended the University of Iowa.
