Van Pinnock

Trustee at Tennessee State University

Van Pinnock currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for duGard Communications. Prior to duGard, he worked in various capacities at Fisk University, including serving as the Director of Corporate and Community Relations. In 2003, Pinnock co-founded InShuttle Transportation, Inc., and served as president for 10 years. Pinnock’s career has covered several industries, including transportation, financial services and higher education. Pinnock has also been a member of numerous city and community committees and non-profit boards, including serving on former Nashville Mayor Megan Barry’s Solid Waste Task Force, and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Neighbor to Neighbor organization, which supports the work of over seventy-five neighborhood organizations and their leaders.

Pinnock received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Fisk University and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the People.
