Laura Lopez Hood has extensive experience in accounting and administrative roles, spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Accountant Tech at the Tennessee Supreme Court/AOC since February 2001, Laura has developed a strong foundation in financial and accounting practices. Prior to this, Laura worked with the American Red Cross from April 1990 to May 2001 as a Data Entry/Medical Records Supervisor, and held the position of Human Resources Receptionist at Lowes Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel from January 1998 to November 2000.

Tennessee Supreme Court /Administrative Office of the Courts The Tennessee Supreme Court is the state’s court of last resort. The five Supreme Court justices may accept appeals of civil and criminal cases from lower state courts. They also interpret the laws and constitutions of Tennessee and the United States. The Supreme Court may assume jurisdiction over undecided cases in the Court of Appeals or Court of Criminal Appeals when there is special need for an expedited decision.
