Derek J. Cashman

Derek J. Cashman is a Lecturer at Tennessee Technological University, focusing on a diverse range of chemistry courses and engaging in collaborative research in computational biochemistry with institutions such as the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. With a strong background in research, Derek also served as a Research Associate at both the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Pittsburgh, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Louisville. Additionally, Derek has been an active volunteer, coordinating Alpha Phi Omega chapters in Western Tennessee and Kentucky as Section 70 Chair, and previously in Eastern Tennessee as Section 68 Chair.
