Marcelo Metzelar

Marcelo Metzelar is an experienced journalist and educator with a diverse background in sports coverage and teaching. Since January 2019, Marcelo serves as the Director of Indoor Football League Coverage for Arena Football Talk, reporting on various leagues. Marcelo also holds the position of Athletic Director and Teacher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic High School since August 2018, where over 60% of students participate in sports. Previous roles include offensive consultant and PA announcer for the Carolina Havoc, and PA announcer for the Myrtle Beach Mutiny. Marcelo has extensive teaching experience in physics and mathematics across several high schools and has held coaching positions, including Assistant Football Coach at Archbishop Curley - Notre Dame High School. Marcelo obtained a BS in Mathematics from the University of Miami and has contributed to the sports community through various roles, including public address announcing at Barry University.
