Alex Nguyen

Alex Nguyen currently serves as a Computer Tech at Tennessee Valley Authority, managing endpoint devices and database mappings for SCADA power grid applications while leveraging SQL for data queries and enhancing system visualization with custom operator displays. As a Platform Engineer Intern, Alex contributed to the Technology & Innovation department, utilizing Ansible and Terraform for cross-server automation. Previously, Alex held the position of Information Technology Specialist in the US Army, performing system and network administration with an active T3 security clearance. Earlier experience includes roles in Horizontal Construction Engineering, focusing on blueprint development and heavy equipment operation. Alex is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, expected to graduate in December 2024.
