Chris Carr

Chris Carr is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with extensive experience in leading GIS initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Geographic Analyst at Tennessee Valley Authority since October 2023, Chris has previously held similar senior roles at the same organization from June 2013 to January 2021, focusing on maximizing GIS technology use. As the GIS Program Manager at Signal Energy Constructors from January 2021 to September 2022, Chris established the company's first GIS Program and implemented innovative solutions such as drone imagery and field mobile apps. Prior to these roles, Chris contributed as the Lead GIS Specialist for the City of Hattiesburg and as a Geospatial Analyst at Radiance Technologies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of Southern Mississippi and an early academic foundation from Pearl River Community College and Picayune Memorial High School.
