Curt Jawdy

Curt Jawdy, PE, serves as the Senior Manager of Operational Research and Support at the Tennessee Valley Authority since January 2011, leading research and development in areas such as electric vehicles, carbon capture, and energy storage. Previous roles at TVA include Advisor to the VP of Innovation and Research and Manager of the River Analysis and Decision Support group, where Curt has significantly advanced operational forecasting systems and hydrologic science initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles at AMEC Earth and Environmental, Michael Brady, Inc., Tetra Tech, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Penn State Energy Institute. Curt holds a Master’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State University.
