Derrick Collins

Derrick Collins is an experienced consultant in regional economic development, currently working with the Tennessee Valley Authority since June 2021. Previously, Collins served as President & CEO and Director of Economic Development at the Jefferson County (TN) Chamber of Commerce from August 2018 to June 2021 and as Economic Development Director at the Economic Development Alliance of Jefferson County (EDAJC) for a brief period in 2017-2018. Additional roles include positions as Community Development & Membership Coordinator at the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and National OEM Account Specialist at Renold Jeffrey. Collins began the career journey as a Project Manager at ALCAN PACKAGING. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Carson-Newman University and studies at Walters State Community College.
