Walt Trombley

Walt Trombley, PMP, MSPM, currently serves as the Director of Engineering for the Clinch River Nuclear Project at Tennessee Valley Authority since October 2017, with previous roles including Engineering Director and General Manager of Fleet Operations Support. Prior to this, Walt held various management positions at SCANA Corporation, including Plant Manager and Maintenance Director, and worked as a Principal Consultant at Black & Veatch. Walt's earlier experience includes senior management roles at Exelon Nuclear, Deputy Operations Manager at British Energy, and Senior Reactor Operator at FirstEnergy. Walt began his career as a Shift Technical Advisor at Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sargent & Lundy. Walt holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
