Will Trumm has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a District Human Resource Manager at Home Depot from January 2007 to April 2011. In this position, they were responsible for organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, staffing, and learning and development for 1,300 associates and 10 stores.
Following their time at Home Depot, Trumm worked as a Senior Human Resource Manager at Amazon from May 2011 to July 2013. Finally, Trumm currently holds the position of Vice President Labor Supply and Partnerships at TVA since July 2023. In this role, they lead the strategic direction for the internal organization, driving the future staffing strategy and preparing the TVA workforce transition to future state jobs. Will partners with management, labor partners, and internal teams to implement solutions, new technologies, and innovation to achieve goals.
Throughout their career, Trumm has made significant contributions, including achieving a 10-year labor agreement, improving employee relations, and lowering grievance levels. Will has also worked on internal cultural transformation, cultivated productive relationships with labor partners, and created a robust people development culture.
Will Trumm has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Will also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources from the same university. Additionally, Trumm obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Lincoln Memorial's Duncan School of Law. Will also holds certifications as an Accredited Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and as a Certified Instructor in Train the Trainer, Interaction Management (DDI), and Frontline Leadership (Zenger-Miller).

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) operates a public power system and supplies power in Tennessee, northern Alabama, northeastern Mississippi, and southwestern Kentucky and in portions of northern Georgia, western North Carolina, and southwestern Virginia. The Company manages the Tennessee River, its tributaries and certain shorelines to provide navigation, flood damage reduction and electricity, among others. The Company is a wholesaler of power. The Company sells power to local power company customers of TVA (LPCs), which then resell power to their customers at retail rates. TVA's LPCs consist of municipalities and other local government entities (municipalities), and customer-owned entities (cooperatives). TVA has approximately three nuclear sites consisting of over six units in operation and approximately one unit under construction. The Company's transmission system has approximately 70 interconnections with over 10 neighboring electric systems.
