Saskia Gietema

Saskia Gietema currently serves as an Adviseur ruimtelijke ordening en milieu at TenneT, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Saskia worked as a Consultant omgevingsmanagement at Liandon from July 2012 to September 2021, focusing on large-scale energy infrastructure projects, particularly underground high-voltage connections and substations. Saskia's earlier experiences include serving as a Consultant and Teamleader in sustainable energy and soil remediation at Grontmij Nederland from June 2005 to June 2012, and as a Consultant on soil pollution at Syncera from September 2000 to March 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Physical Geography from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in 2000, and further studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Elizabethtown College.
