Faiza Mokhtar's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Legal Intern at VoteRiders. During this time, they researched voter ID requirements and monitored voter ID issues in various states.
In 2013, Mokhtar joined FishBowl Worldwide Media, Inc. as a Clearance Coordinator, where they evaluated content, negotiated material releases, and managed the clearance logs for episodes. They also served as a Production Assistant during their time at this company.
From 2014 to 2015, Mokhtar worked at Telepictures Productions/Warner Bros as a Senior Contract Administrator. In this role, they managed employee contracts and acted as a liaison between show executives and Telepictures Executives.
In 2015, Mokhtar held the position of Business Affairs Representative at Stone & Company Entertainment, where they managed standards and practices for Nickelodeon's game show, "Paradise Run." They also drafted agreements and briefed contestants and their parents on game rules.
Mokhtar then joined DEFY Media as a Business Development + Licensing Manager from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they managed the licensing department, generated revenue through licensing deals, and negotiated licenses with various entities.
In 2017, Mokhtar worked as a Clearance Coordinator at Endemol Shine Group on a contract basis.
From 2014 to 2018, Mokhtar worked at Kaplan as a Pre-College Faculty, teaching pre-college courses.
In 2018, Mokhtar held multiple positions. They worked at Magical Elves, Inc. as a Clearance Coordinator on a contract basis, as well as at Pilgrim Media Group as a Clearance Coordinator on a contract basis.
Presently, Mokhtar works at Tennis Channel as an Associate Director in the Business & Legal Affairs department.
Faiza Mokhtar's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Loyola Marymount University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, which they completed in 2007. Following this, in 2008, they attended Loyola Marymount University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Bioethics, which they completed in 2009. In the same year, Mokhtar began studying at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law in 2012. Later, in 2017, they attended Harvard Law School and completed a Certificate of Completion in Copyright Law.
