Cristian Baez

Cristian Baez's work experience begins in 2014 as a Research student at Laboratorio de Innovaciones en Sistemas de Información, where they collaborated in research projects and performed network installations. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Developer at Etixen, primarily using Java, Node.js, and AppsScript for software development, including the implementation and documentation of REST APIs. In 2019, they joined Despegar.com as a Software Developer, focusing on maintaining the Hotel Search Manager API and enhancing application functionality through commercial rules, design patterns, and multithreading. At Eventbrite, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2021 to 2022, Cristian was responsible for maintaining and improving payment processing applications. Cristian also implemented AWS services and created microservices using the gRPC protocol. Currently, since 2022, they are working as a Software Engineer at Tenpo.

Cristian Baez attended the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2012 to 2019, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Information Systems.
