Mechanical Engineer at Tensentric

Carly Frank has been working in the engineering field since 2015. Carly began their career as a Learning Assistant Mentor, Learning Assistant, and Student Advisory Board Member at Boise State University. In 2016, they took on the role of Research Assistant at the Northwest Tissue Mechanics Laboratory. In 2018, they were hired as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Plexus Corp. and was later promoted to Mechanical Design Engineer in 2019. In this role, they developed mechanical components and system concepts for a variety of healthcare and life sciences programs per ISO 13485, designed the enclosure for a point-of-care molecular diagnostics instrument, and worked closely with manufacturing to identify improvement areas of an assembly process for the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. In 2020, they joined Tensentric as a Mechanical Engineer. During their career, they have been selected as one of 15 from a global pool of high-potential future leaders to participate in the Engineering Business Leadership Program.

Carly Frank graduated from Boise State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Mount Spokane High School from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Biomedical Sciences.
