Ricardo Cunha

Ricardo Cunha has held several positions in the technology industry since 2013. Ricardo began their career as a Software Engineer at Envelopes.com in 2013, followed by a role as a Senior Software Consultant / Tetris Evangelist at Karbyn in 2014. In 2015, they were a JavaScript Front End Developer at Sleepy's, The Mattress Professionals. In 2016, they were a Lead System Architect at sportsYou and a Software Engineer at Cox Automotive Inc. Ricardo then moved on to become VP of Engineering at Slingshot Health in 2017, followed by Chief Information Technology Architect at Polygon - Know Your Customers in 2019. In 2021, they held two positions at Viz.ai, first as a Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager and then as a Full Stack Engineering Manager. Ricardo currently holds the role of Senior VP of Data and Technology at TenSource since 2022.

Ricardo Cunha started their educational journey in 1999, when they graduated from Mineola High School with a diploma. Ricardo then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2003 to 2007, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2014, Ricardo obtained a SiteCore Developer certification from Sitecore. Two years later, in 2016, they were certified as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance. Lastly, Ricardo is currently pursuing a Licentiate degree in Computer Science at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
